Emotion and Psychopathology Lab

Dysfunctional emotional patterns are a hallmark of many mental health disorders. Our research focuses on the intersection between emotion and psychopathology. We try to better understand what are the emotional processes that are impaired in mental health disorders, with a special emphasis on mood disorders, such as Major Depression Disorder, suicide, and self-harm. In our research we use experimental designs, Ecological Momentary Assessments, clinical evaluations and big data analysis.
